Senior Clerk: David Goddard

David Goddard is our Senior Clerk and has a wealth of experience. He has been with us since 1983 after 12 years in a commercial set in the Temple. He is a past Chairman of the Institute of Barristers Clerks and is now one of its Vice Presidents. He has also served on numerous Bar Council Committees and working parties in the past, and is currently a member of the Bar Council Public Access Committee. David takes an active interest in all aspects of Chambers’ life, and also sits on the Pupillage Committee.

Uniquely in the world of clerks, David is singled out for mention in Chambers UK 2008 for “knowing exactly what is going on within the chambers – he always knows how to put you on the right track”.
